High Definition 3D Modeling
We specialise in small, accurate and precise rapid prototyping.
3D printed parts are generally a lot cheaper than other rapid prototyping processes.
What do we require to produce your design?
All we require is an STL file format either uploaded here, emailed to info@proform3d.com.au or posted by mail.
How long does it take to make a part?
3D printing is reputed as a very fast and efficient technology in RP the industry. Standard lead time for 3D printed parts is 1 - 2 days.
What is the maximum size limit of the part?
Please follow the table for the Net Build Volume and note the differences with HD and UHD modes.
| Printing Modes | HD - High Definition UHD - Ultra High Definition |
| Net Build Volume (xyz) HD Mode UHD Mode | 298 x 185 x 293mm (11.75 x 7.3 x 8 inches) 127 x 178 x 152 (5 x 7 x 6 inches) Certain geometries exceeding 6450mm2 (xy) x 50mm(z); 10in2 (xy) x 2in (z) Single model size may require HD mode |
| Resolution HD Mode UHD Mode | 328 x 328 x 606 DPI (xyz) 656 x 656 x 800 DPI (xyz) |
| Accuracy (typical) | 0.001 - 0.002 inch (0.025 - 0.05mm) per inch of part dimension Accuracy may vary depending on build parameters, part geometry and size, part orientation, and post-processing methods. |
